A family on the Upper East Side is seeking a newborn care specialist for their second child, due November 9th (mom was 2 x weeks’ late with her first pregnancy). The schedule will be 5 nights per week, 10-12 hours per night, for a period of 8-10 weeks. The family also have a 4 year old but they will not the candidate’s responsibility. Daytime could be an option sometimes, but overnight is the priority.

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
• Implementing an effective sleep routine that the parents can follow once the term ends
• Providing practical tools to enable the parents to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
• Helping around the house with laundry and everything pertaining to the baby, such as cleaning bottles and pump parts etc. 

• Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
• Must have experience working nights
• Must have experience establishing a healthy schedule for the baby
• Must understand feeding patterns, sleep patterns etc.

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Able to commute to the Upper East Side
• Available to start on or around November 9th and commit to the full term
• Be calm, gentle, and seasoned/ confident
