A lovely family on the Upper East Side is seeking a full-time live-out nanny for their two children ages 3-years-old and 1-years-old. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-6pm so there will be overtime weekly (50 hours/week). They are timely though when the working day ends and the nanny would not need to stay late. There are no other homes, travel, summers in the Hamptons, so it will be based on the UES in their home. The 3-year-old attends school Monday through Friday 8:30am-2pm so the primary care during the day is focused on the 1-year-old. There are no pets in the home. The Father works in an office outside of the home 4 days/week and the Mother works in an office outside of the home 3 days/week. The days when the parents are working from home they will give the nanny space. The role starts as soon as possible.

• Getting the children going in the morning and taking both of the children out in order to drop the 3-year-old off at school
• After school pick up
• Laundry for the children
• Meal prep for the children
• Understanding and implementing developmental milestones
• Occasionally shopping at the grocery store for the Mother to pick up items she may need for dinner
• Packing the children and making sure the children have when they are out and about (I.E., milk, snacks, etc.)

• Must be a high-caliber career nanny who is a self-starter and doesn't need hand-holding from the parents
• Knowledge and compassion of how to support a working Mother
• Being warm and loving in conduct; someone who will love the children
• Capable and professional
• Understands developmental milestones
• Reliability is very important to the family
• Comfortable with a bit of shopping (groceries) at times and meal prep (at times), but the focus is on the children for this role

• $37-40/hour on the books (plus 10 hours a week of overtime)
