A busy and private family on the Upper East Side is seeking a fantastic live-in weekend nanny. The family has three children ages 1, 7 and 9. The role is mainly for the 1 year old but help will be needed for the older girls as well. The schedule for this role is Friday morning through Monday morning. The family has a second residence in Connecticut and you will need to be able to go with them when they go. The role starts in August or September depending on when they find the right fit. Ideally, this will be your only role and you can travel for longer periods of time as well, although that is not a requirement.

• Duties for this role will encompass everything related to the children, as well as some assistant duties.
• Childcare will include managing schedules, preparing balanced meals for the family and planning engaging activities and outings.
• Mom has a flexible schedule, so there will be times where she will care for the children and the nanny should feel comfortable handling tasks such as grocery shopping, very light housekeeping, child-related laundry, packing for travel, and completing organization projects.
• Travel to Connecticut when needed and stay the weekend. 

• The family is looking for a nanny who is able to balance a patient and gentle demeanor with the ability to set limits if needed.
• This position requires someone who is naturally organized and proactive, with the ability to think ahead. Mom is seeking a team-mate who is able to keep on top of the schedule and upcoming travel, and take charge of all things related to the children.
• The ideal candidate for this role will be proactive, quick-thinking, and a great communicator. 
• Ability to swim and drive would be major a plus

• This is a weekend role- DO NOT apply unless you can live-in and work Friday AM until Monday AM. 
• A COVID vaccination is also required

• Travel is required for this position.

•  Compensation for this role is $500 per day
