A family of professionals on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking a fantastic weekend nanny.  The general schedule for this position is Saturday and Sunday from 9am until 8:30pm.  While the family has four children's ages, 13 (b), 11 (b) and 3.5-year-old twin girls, the majority of this roles focus will be on the the twin girls.  The family also has an au-pair who will assist on the weekends as needed.  The family travels to their residence on Long Island from time to time and more often during Summers, and the nanny will be expected to join them for the weekends.

The accommodations for this role include a private bedroom and bathroom in the main residence and private bedroom with shared bathroom in the Long Island home.

The primary focus in this role will be the twins, but willingness and ability to help with the older boys (ages 11 and 13) is required as needed. Job responsibilities include;

• Care for the twins- keeping them on schedules, making sure hygiene is kept up, managing daily routines and mealtimes, pro-actively planning and prepping all meals, and monitoring their physical and mental development
• Light housekeeping related to the children- laundry, dishes, meal prep clean up, organizing and cleaning of their clothing, belongings, and bedroom, as well as any other duties that fall within that scope.
• Ability to pitch-in and help where needed is required (ex: emptying the dishwasher, tidying up kitchen). 
• Candidates should have strong experience with infants and toddlers and should feel confident caring for multiple children simultaneously.

• The family is seeking a nanny who is extremely safety conscious, with an understanding of early childhood development and strong communication skills.
• The ideal candidate will be engaging, energetic, and highly organized, with an eye for detail.
• Experience and familiarity with allergic reactions and Epipens is a major plus, if not willingness to learn is a requirement. 
• The candidate should be dog friendly, and while no pet care is required, they would love to find a nanny who enjoys being around their dog.
• The ability to swim would be ideal but is not required.
• This is a fully staffed home, and the candidate should have experience in a similar environment- they must be a team-player and understand how to interact with other staff in a professional manner.

• $35-$40 per hour but flexible for the right person
