A family of 3 in Carrollton, Texas is seeking a long-term, part-time nanny to help with their 8 year-old child. The schedule will be Monday through Friday 11am – 6pm, with occasional late evenings (up to 2am) or overnight stays as needed. Flexibility is important. They are looking for someone warm, patient, fun, organized, proactive, and confident in setting boundaries when needed. Someone who can connect with a child who has ADHD and dyslexia, and is genuinely willing to engage in play with him. This person must be able to travel 1-3 times per year, which will be primarily domestic. 

• School pick-ups/drop-offs (as needed)
• Help with reading, writing, and light academic support
• Engage in creative play and outdoor activities
• Prep snacks/meals for the child
• Light tidying of child’s areas

• Experience with school-age children
• Comfortable supporting children with learning differences (ADHD/dyslexia)
• CPR certified (or willing to obtain) 
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Non-smoker
• Must be comfortable around pets
• Swimming is a plus (occasional pool supervision)
• Must be able to drive and have a valid driver’s license
• Travel domestically
