A wonderful first time mom living in Manhattan is seeking a nanny to help care for her newborn baby, due early October. This is a full-time, live-in position, the schedule is to be confirmed but will be approximately 35 hours per week. There will be a night NCS for the first 2-3 months, who will work alongside the nanny.

Mom wants to be as involved as possible and is happy to accept advice and guidance. 

This position is for one year, and then the family will move back to Europe, if both parties are happy, mom would be open to the nanny relocating with them visa permitting. There will also be some possible travel to Europe during the year to Switzerland and London for up to a week at a time and mom would like for the nanny and baby to accompany her.

• All aspects of childcare for the child, including managing sleep and feeding schedules; initially working with the night newborn care specialist
• Handling baby laundry and maintaining organization of the baby's spaces
• Keeping on top of baby supplies, and making necessary purchases
• Creating an engaging environment and providing developmentally appropriate enrichment daily
• Researching classes and making sure the baby gets out for social and educational outings 
• Packing for travel and planning outings in all locations 
• Once the baby is ready offer mom advice on weaning, and be willing to prepare healthy, organic meals

• Knowledge of the area would be helpful but isn't essential
• 5-10 years experience is preferred
• Be willing to help out with light-housework, washing, ironing, etc
• Sourcing organic food products
• Cooking healthy, nutritious, and organic meals for both mom and baby

• Up to date CPR/First Aid certified
• Mom is spontaneous and fun and would like the candidate to be like minded.

• $35-$45/hr
