Overview

A busy working family in Portola Valley is seeking a nanny to add to their ROTA team! There are two twin girls who will be about four months old around the start date. They have been with a newborn care specialist since birth, and she will continue as the other half of this ROTA position. The schedule will be 2 weeks on/off. When on, it is live-in 24-hour care for the twins. Must have twin experience to apply to this role and the family is prioritzing native or fluent French and Spanish speakers first.

Responsibilities

  • Basic tidying of nursery
  • Children's laundry
  • Meal reheating for twins ( Full-time house-cleaner and chef on staff)
  • Travel both domestically and internationally
  • Active - enjoys the outdoors and taking our girls outside every day
  • Speaking to girls and engaging with them rather than screen time.

Requirements

  • Legal to work in the US
  • Must have twin experience
  • Passport ready
  • Clean and valid driver's license
  • Comfortable swimming
  • Standard up-to-date vaccines
  • Well-educated
  • Speaking Spanish, French, or Greek fluently, is required.

Note: When on a rotation, the nanny will live in the twin nursery area.

This area has two separate rooms, a small kitchenette, and 1.5 baths. The nanny will have a private queen-size bed NEXT to the room with the cribs where the twins will be sleeping.

 

Note: When off rotation, the nanny can fly in/out. If that is not possible, or the nanny prefers to stay, there is a guest-house on the property that can be shared by the ROTA's when they are off. It is a one-bedroom/one-bath guest-house. This guest-house would be available to the two rota nannies. The current ROTA nanny will be flying in/out most weeks, but there may be an overlap in arrivals/departures.
