Overview

A lovely and private High Profile family in Los Angeles, California is seeking a ROTA nanny to join their team to care for their 1-year-old son. The family also has a set of nannies for their two oldest kids. The general daily schedule for the nanny will be ‘wake up through bedtime,’ on a one-week on/off schedule, 7 days per week. When traveling, the schedule will be 2-weeks-on/off. Flexibility will be needed for night-time coverage and occasional longer-term travel, so a 24/7 mindset is required during the shift and nanny will be in charge of the monitor overnight. The position is live-in while on duty, and live-out when off duty. The family is currently only considering candidates who are local to the Los Angeles area or within an easy drivable commute. 

Responsibilities

  • Full childcare for your shift, maintaining the routine and planning age appropriate sensory and engaging activities
  • Preparing snacks and meals when needed
  • Managing the tidiness and organization of baby spaces and belongings 
  • Child-related light housekeeping when needed
  • Bath and bedtime
  • Traveling with the family, both domestically and internationally
  • Coordinating with the other nannies
  • Creating and maintaining baby's schedule and routine

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude
  • Calm energy, not super hyper, but able to be engaging and active with the baby
  • Kind, warm, caring, and truly loves being a nanny
  • Team Player

Requirements

  • Must have at least 5 years experience with verifiable references
  • Must be flexible and able to navigate parents who are in and out of the home
  • Travel ready: must have a current and valid passport and experience traveling with families
  • Confident swimming skills
  • Confident in Sleep Schedules and maintaining a healthy sleep routine 
  • Safety cautious - not on your phone and attentive to the child’s needs
  • Must be comfortable around dogs, the family has one hypoallergenic dog
  • Team player with excellent communication
  • Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certified, or willing to certify 
  • Trustline certified, or willing to certify 
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

  • Pay is competitive and based on experience, salary ranges from $115k-$150k
