Overview

A warm, fun, and adventurous family is seeking a full-time Family Assistant to join them in Miami, FL! They have three energetic and friendly children, and you’ll be working alongside the stay-at-home mom to support both the children and the household. The children attend school during the day, so your schedule will typically be Monday through Friday, mid morning-early evening, totaling 40 hours per week. The mornings will focus on Family Assistant tasks, and flexibility for occasional date nights is appreciated. This role is ideal for someone proactive, kind, responsible.

Responsibilities

Nanny Responsibilities:

  • School pick-ups and driving to activities
  • Ensuring the children are safe, well-fed, and engaged throughout the day
  • Assisting with homework and learning
  • Creating fun, age-appropriate, and educational activities
  • Planning and attending enriching outings
  • Preparing snacks and healthy meals
  • Collaborating with Mom to tag-team childcare
  • Providing childcare while traveling with the family
  • Occasional overnight stays during travel

Family Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Grocery shopping and managing household inventory
  • Light meal prep
  • Household laundry
  • Running errands
  • Keeping the home tidy (a housekeeper comes twice weekly—no heavy cleaning required)
  • Home organization projects
  • Supporting the family during an upcoming local move
  • Managing the family calendar and appointments

Qualifications

  • Team player who’s eager to help wherever needed
  • Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed
  • Excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of nanny experience with 3+ children, including 2+ years as a Family Assistant
  • Very strong preference for candidates currently in Miami 
  • Fluent in English
  • College degree or early childhood education background preferred
  • CPR and First Aid Certified
  • Passport ready and willing to travel domestically and internationally starting May 31st
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, clean driving record, and confident driving skills
  • Non-smoker
  • Strong swimmer
  • Comfortable with dogs
  • Collaborative and able to work closely with an involved mom
  • Familiar with a gentle boundaries approach—loving yet consistent
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits

  • $40–$45+/hour, depending on experience
  • 2 weeks paid vacation
