Overview

A Beverly Hills, CA couple is searching for 2 fantastic rotational nannies to help care for their infant daughter.  The ideal schedule will be one week on and one week off. The candidate must be local to LA as it will be live-out most nights and live-in when traveling or when working later nights.  The role will start once the family finds the right person and is flexible based on the candidates needs.  

Responsibilities

  • Care, stimulation, and engagement of the baby, 
  • Able to carry over current sleep schedules and routines as well as adjust when needed 
  • Carrying out any preferences of the parents
  • Responsible for keeping baby items clean as well as nursery and play areas tidy.
  • The family enjoys time alone with their daughter and is looking for someone who will be OK with household tasks such as unloading the dishwasher, running errands, some laundry when housekeeper is out. 
  • The family travels about once a month (or less) and needs someone who can go with them. During this time you will be responsible for the child and monitor overnight when traveling. 

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate should have a balanced personality—they should be confident and knowledgeable about what the baby needs and be gracious and open to following the parents’ guidance.
  • The family is looking for someone gentle, loving, organized, and adaptable. Someone with recent NCS experience would be a plus but not a requirement. 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of child development and milestones
  • Extremely clean and able to work well with other staff
  • Calm, confident, smart, and quick on your feet
  • The family is not looking for someone who is bossy or pushy
  • Extensive infant experience with excellent understanding of infant scheduling, nap schedules, safe sleeping, infant milestones and development and proper play time activities
  • Strong knowledge of infant feeding and changes. Milk usage, storage and safety. Introducing solids, etc. 

Requirements

  • LOCAL TO LA
  • Attention to hygiene and tidiness are very important 
  • Customary vaccinations (e.g., flu, TDAP, MMR)
  • An NDA will be required
  • Must love dogs, the family has a friendly, playful, 13 lb dog. 
  • Flexibility to travel and currently hold a valid passport. Flexibility is a major aspect of this role. 
  • Strong communication skills 
  • CPR certified required with first aid a major plus!
  • Comfortable working around involved parents who are in and out of the home.
  • A team-player!

Salary and Benefits

  • DOE starts at $110 plus health
