A private and busy family living in the Hudson Yards is in search of a full-time live-in nanny for their newborn daughter. The baby was born in January and the newborn care specialist will be there until the end of June. The position will be Monday through Friday from 7am until 7pm but the family is willing to do less hours for the right person.  Travel is required for this role and during that time more overtime will be available. 

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the child
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the child at all times
• Create a safe and stimulating environment that encourages the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Follow established routines and adjust as needed
• Engage in activities that promote development, such as reading, singing, and age-appropriate outings
• Provide guidance related to the child’s care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
• Full-charge care, including bathing, feeding, and diapering
• Child-related tidying up, including laundry and sterilizing bottles
• Track and log the child’s developmental milestones and assist with reaching them
• Pack and prepare for travel and trips when needed
• The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally

• Warm, nurturing, and kind demeanor
• Understanding of infant development and ability to recognize and respond to infant needs
• Dependable, trustworthy, and professional
• Ability to work intuitively and collaboratively with the family
• NCS experience would be a huge plus
• Happy to travel domestically and internationally

• 5+ years of experience working with young children
• CPR and First Aid certified
• Up-to-date on all vaccines (COVID, RSV, TDap, Flu)
• Excellent references
• Legally authorized to work in the US
• The ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Experience traveling with families
• Live-in experience 

• Role does depends on experience and ranges form $35-$45 per hour plus OT
