Overview

A kind family in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles is searching for a fantastic part-time house/personal assistant to join their team. The family enjoys a calm, organized home and a welcoming team environment day to day. The schedule will be three days per week, Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am-3pm. If the candidate would prefer doing Tuesday instead of Wednesday the client is open to that. 

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the home, assist housekeeper who comes three days per week
  • Organizing closets, pantry, and storage areas
  • Miscellaneous errands including grocery shopping, dry cleaning, returns, etc. 
  • Light care for dog (refilling water, possibly taking to vet if needed, there will be a dog walker)
  • In charge of all supply purchases/restocking as well as receiving deliveries/using DoorBird app to coordinate deliveries 
  • Coordinate with vendors, repair people, and home management company
  • Staying on top of assistant email account which means paying bills, replying to vendors, etc. 

Qualifications

  • Works well independently and on a team, there is a housekeeper three days per week and nannies 
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, organized, and efficient 
  • They will be relying on the successful candidate to really take ownership of the role and to have their best interests at heart
  • Driver's license and own car would be ideal 

Requirements

  • Self-starter and does not need hand holding or much management once on boarded. Someone who can be proactive about figuring out how to do things on their own (watching a how to video on how to change a filter for example)
  • Extremely tech savvy
  • Comfortable working with a large friendly and well trained dog
  • Comfortable with young children in the home (very minimal childcare would be needed, unless nanny is sick or there's an emergency)
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

$40+ per hour plus standard benefits (PTO, sick days, holidays), additional benefits to be negotiated
