A friendly, respectful British family moving from the UK to Miami Beach seeks a full-time groundsman and handyman for their 11,000sq ft private residence.  The ideal schedule would be Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm, however flexibility would be appreciated for occasional weekend help or changes to schedule.  The position is likely to start early July 2025.

The candidate will report to the house manager, and should be comfortable working as part of a team to support the family.  Responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning, maintenance and management of all external areas ensuring family and guests can fully utilise and enjoy the grounds
• Performing general maintenance and repair tasks within the home and grounds and/or coordinate with the home manager and appropriate vendors
• Ad hoc driver support to family and guests as required
• Conduct regular property walk-throughs to ensure home is maintained to the highest standards, including regular testing of home equipment
• Follow maintenance protocols for monthly/seasonal/annual checklists of the home, grounds and systems
• Perform minor repairs within the home
• Keep track of inventory for tools, hardware and building material ensuring items are stocked and replenished in a timely manner.
• Wash cars, yacht, jet skis, bicycles and outdoor furniture
• Clean and maintain outdoor kitchen appliances such as BBQ grill, pizza oven and fireplace
• Install holiday lights and decor
• Other ad-hoc requests as needed

• Candidates should be completely fluent in English and must be confident drivers with a clean licence
• Knowledgeable in maintaining high end surface material such as natural stones, exotic woods etc
• At least 5 years experience in a similar role
• Must be comfortable around children and pets
• Fit, active and strong, able to manage the upkeep of both the interior and exterior of the large property, and to work with heavy machinery and materials
