Overview

A wonderful returning client of BAHS is seeking a temporary, live-out nanny for their almost three- year-old boy, from May 4th through May 18th, inclusive. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, from 7am to 4pm. The candidate will be providing temporary cover for the nanny we placed with them while she goes on a trip. The role will be split between homes in the Sea Cliff neighborhood and Clarendon Heights. 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities will pertain to the care and development of the child, to include;

  • His laundry
  • Meal/snack/packed lunch prep
  • Keeping his play areas/bedroom tidy
  • Creating activities for the young boy
  • Planning play-dates and activities
  • Keeping the child safe and happy at all times- this is the most important piece every day
  • Assist with prepping dinner

Qualifications

  • Candidates should be professional, warm, and intentional, really getting down on the children's level and engaging them
  • Candidates should ideally have a relevant educational background, such as Child Development, Early Childhood Education or other/equivalent specialized experience
  • Comfortable with parents in and out of the home
  • Family wants the best of the best

Requirements

  • The family put a strong emphasis on being active with the child and keeping him safe and happy
  • The family are warm, kind, and informal, but they do appreciate candidates respecting boundaries
  • Both parents work, though are hands-on as much as possible when they are home, so candidates should know when to step-up and when to step back and keep busy doing other things while the parents spend quality time with the children

Salary and Benefits

  • DOE starting at $50/hr
