A really lovely, respectful family moving from the UK to Miami Beach seeks a live-in Mother's Helper/Cook.  The ideal schedule would be Monday through Friday from 2pm-10pm, however flexibility would be appreciated for occasional weekend help or changes to schedule.  The position is likely to start early July 2025.

Responsibilities will mainly revolve around supporting Mum and 4 teenage children:

• Occasional school pick-ups
• Helping take children to any after-school activities and engagements
• Homework support when required
• Supervising the children's evening routine
• General care for the home including some light housekeeping (there is already a team in place who will do the majority of the housekeeping)
• Some laundry and ironing
• General wardrobe management for the family
• Evening meal preparation
• Errands including grocery shopping, dry-cleaning etc
• Keeping household areas guest-ready at all times
• Occasionally assist with serving during formal or informal events
• Pet-care for a cat and a dog

• A confident driver is essential
• Candidates should be confident cooks, happy to prepare simple meals for the family and to cater for informal dinner parties of up to 10 people
• They should also be positive, friendly and happy, contributing to a warm and welcoming home
• Knowledge of fine fabrics, linens, and delicate clothing is essential, as is prior experience handling delicate items, fine art and high-end furnishings with care
• Excellent level of English
• Pitch-in mentality is essential, as is previous experience working as part of a team.  Candidates must be happy to tag-team with Mum and should be able to read the room and stay 2 steps ahead at all times
• Fit and active, able to manage a large home and keep up with 4 children!
• Candidates should demonstrate excellent attention to detail, and should be discreet, flexible and accommodating
