Overview

A family in NYC, is seeking a live-in weekend nanny to help with their hectic lifestyle.  There are three children, 6 year old twins and a toddler.  This is a fully staffed home with another nanny, so you would not be handling all three children.  The schedule would be arriving Friday at 4pm and living in through Sunday at 6pm.  The role does require travel, so flexibility to travel for the summer months when the children are out of school and at other times of the year.  Please do not apply if you are not ok with being gone for most of the summer.  There can be additional hours during the week if the candidate would like more hours. The role requires flexibility and is hiring immediately!  The candidate should already be living in NYC to apply.  This role is not looking to relocate.

Responsibilities

  • Daily childcare, keeping them safe, active, and fed
  • Helping with preparing bags for school and activities
  • Meal prep
  • Laundry
  • Grocery shopping
  • errands, as needed
  • On weekends, primary responsibility would be watching the toddler while the twins have their activities
  • Backup help for the other nanny would be required, when needed
  • Ability to live-in on weekends and live-out during the week
  • Travelling internationally when the children are on summer vacation is required.  Flexibility for a different schedule during that time.  You will be traveling for most of the summer
  • Additional travel through out the year

Requirements

  • Legal to work in the US
  • Must live in NYC or surrounding areas
  • Passport Ready - not expiring within six months
  • Comfortable traveling with children
  • Able to swim
  • Valid and clean drivers license

Salary and Benefits

The family is offering $40/hr and paid time off.
