A wonderful but busy family seeks a French-speaking nanny (or manny) for two children aged 7-years and 5-years-old.  This is a full-time, live-out role with a likely schedule of 10am-6pm, Monday through Friday.  Please also be open to regular international travel and occasional weekend work if required.

Your role is very much focused around immersing the children in French language in a fun, encouraging, and engaging way.  Responsibilities will therefore include:

• Only speaking French to the children
• Creating fun activities, taking them out for adventures, visiting galleries, museums, and engaging with their interests (football!)
• Encouraging their linguistic development and fluency
• Ensuring a fun, engaging and nurturing environment
• Supporting the children with homework and school projects
• Widening their social circle of French-speaking friends
• Occasional morning school drop offs, more regular afternoon pick ups and taking them to any activities
• Light housekeeping relating to the children
• Working as part of a team (you will be working alongside another nanny and other staff in the home)

• Native French-speaker is essential
• Fun, active and engaging approach to childcare and to French!
• Excellent team player with impressive organisational skills
• At least 5 years experience working with children
• Ability to travel with the family

• From $40/hr, depending on experience
