A lovely growing family in the Union Square area of NYC is seeking a live-in or live-out nanny to start ASAP for their two childre, ages 16 months and 4 months. A third baby is due fall 2025 and the family hopes to welcome a fourth down eventually! The schedule will typically be Monday through Friday from 8am to 8pm. There is a NCS covering nights. The family is open to nannies relocating from other areas of the US. 

• Full childcare of two active and sweet children. As the family grows, additional help will be added but this position is the lead nanny who can confidently care for two under two!
• Enrichment in and outside the home, monitoring and encouragement of milestones, and partnering with mom and dad to collaboratively ensure the best care for the children
• Light housekeeping related to the children - this consists of children's laundry, solids introduction and meal preparation, and keeping children's spaces and belongings tidy and clean (organizing diaper deliveries, switching out clothes, eg.). The family travels relatively often and the nanny will join them and manage the packing and unpacking and planning activities in the destination

• Calm, confident, easygoing, and warm nature. While the parents are still developing their childcare philosophies, they lean toward an empathetic, kind approach both to the children and within the home.
• Proactive and energetic to get the children out of the house daily. The family would appreciate a nanny who researches the newest classes and activities, joins play groups, and encourages the children to be social. 
• High attention to detail and excellent communicator 
• Easily go with the flow and okay with last minute changes especially with children close in age!
• Someone with a degree or training in education or psychology would be a huge plus

• Excited for travel including spending the winters, up to 2-3 months, in Miami. They do travel to other locations as well for shorter trips
• Confident swimmer as the Miami house has a pool and ocean access 
• Looking for longevity in a role and comfortable in a busy home that will have 4 children close in age. They hope to find a nanny who wants to join their family long-term and grow with them.
• Legal to work in the US

$85,000-$125,000+ for the 60-hour week including applicable overtime 

Benefits to be discussed but will include PTO, sick days, paid holidays, and health reimbursement 

If live-in, the nanny will have their own private space (almost 800 square feet) to retreat to
