A busy but loving family are seeking a full-time, live-in nanny/family assistant to help with their kids, ages 7-years and 5-years, and help with house duties when the kids are in school. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, with a split schedule from 6am-9am and 1:30pm-7pm. Guaranteed hours are 40, but additional hours and days are offered if desired. The family is looking for someone who loves kids and can engage/interact/play with their kids, can be a team player, and pitch in where needed to make the children's lives run easier. This position includes travel as the family also has a home in NYC. Candidate must be available to travel for the whole summer and additional trips. The family is currently only considering local candidates, and the position starts ASAP!

Nanny

• 6am-9am - help get kids ready for school, walk dog and drive to school
• 1:30pm-7pm - pick up kids from school, drive to afterschool activities, help prepare dinner, get ready for bed
• Light meal prep and preparing snacks and lunches, cleaning up the kitchen after use
  
• Making simple and healthy meals, keeping in mind the family food allergies
• Driving the kids
  
• Taking to after school activities
• Helping with homework
• Kids laundry
• Helping tidy kids areas and keeping them on top of their responsibilities

Family Assistant

• Additional hours offered during the day for added duties such as:
• Grocery shopping
• Home organization projects
• Keeping the home tidy - the family does have a housekeeper so duties would not be heavy cleaning
• Keeping track of home inventory, stocking the home with needed essentials, and buying more when needed
• Bringing packages in and doing returns when needed

• Has at least 5 years of nanny experience
• Mom is very involved, must be able to navigate working as part of a team with mom (think divide and conquer!)
• Must be comfortable with pets - the family has one 9 lb Yorkie who the candidate will need to walk in the mornings
• Must enjoy being with kids, and be able to get into a homemade fort when asked!
• Non-Smoker
• Confident swimmer
• Legal to work in the US
• Must have a valid drivers license, clean driving record, and be a confident driver - family car is provided
• CPR and First Aid Certified, or willing to certify
• Trustline Registered, or willing to register

• Hourly rate is $35-$45, depending on experience
