Overview

A warm, kind family in the West Village of NYC, is seeking a full-time weekend/nights/travel nanny for their infant. Their daughter will be 3 months old in May, and the role will start May 15th. The family already have a full-time nanny during the week, so the schedule will be Saturday and Sunday from 8am-10pm (28 hours), and likely 2 weekdays (usually Wednesday and Friday) from 5pm-11pm (12 hours). The family can guarantee 30 hours each week, but candidates should have the flexibility to work up to 40 hours per week (more when traveling). The schedule will vary as to which nights they would need help but they will aim for a degree of consistency. That being said, there’s a high degree of emphasis on schedule flexibility for the role, and the family is willing to offer a higher weekly guarantee for those candidates who can provide this (e.g. they are happy to guarantee 160 hours per month). There will also be 3x 4 week-long trips that the candidate will accompany the family on; 2 in the Summer, and 1 in the January-March time period, plus 12x long weekend trips (roughly monthly, on average). Candidates will always have their own room when traveling with the family.
