Overview

A busy Manhattan couple are seeking 2 ROTA nannies to help care for their twin infant daughters.  The schedule will be 1 week on/off and the family are ideally seeking a long-term commitment from candidates, to ensure consistency of care for their children. The position may be live-out some nights when in the city but will always be live- in when out at the family's Connecticut home. You must be local to Manhattan to be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Full childcare for your shift, caring for the children's health, well-being, and education, while also being playful and creating an engaging environment
  • Maintaining the schedule and routine, planning active and engaging activities
  • Planning age-appropriate and developmental activities, play-dates, and outings
  • Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
  • Preparing snacks and meals
  • Managing the tidiness and organization of child spaces and belongings 
  • Child-related light housekeeping when needed
  • Coordinating with the other nanny to create cohesive and consistent care

Qualifications

  • Ability to navigate involved parents and other nanny, working solo and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude
  • Loving and calm
  • Energetic enough to care for twin/toddler girls but also have a calm and centered demeanor
  • Twin/ multiples experience
  • An educational background in Child Development/ECE or other relevant field

Requirements

  • Experience with twins or multiples
  • Experience sleep training 
  • Driver’s license and ability to swim are ideal, but not required
  • Team-player with excellent communication
  • Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certified, or willing to certify 
  • Legal to work in the US
  • Must be willing to spend time out at the family`s Connecticut house

Salary and Benefits

  • $115-130k
  • Healthcare stipend
