Overview

A creative and kind family in Los Angeles, CA is seeking the ultimate team-player part-time nanny for their 3 children (ages 8, 5, and 6-months-old). The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 2pm to 7pm and requires flexibility. The family has a second home in Malibu, where the candidate will be required to work at times. The ideal candidate will have experience with all age groups, is extremely active, and will be an excellent source of support for the team and family. Only local candidates will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Always ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Drive to/from activities
  • Meal prep and cook
  • Engage in and encourage outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking
  • Assist with homework
  • Bath and bedtime routines
  • Pack/unpack for travel
  • Travel with family domestically and internationally
  • Collaborate with parent and co-nannies
  • All aspects of general full-charge childcare

Qualifications

  • Team player mentality with a can-do attitude
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Flexible with the schedule and not a clock watcher
  • Active and energetic – able to keep up with 3 children

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Confident swimming skills in pool and ocean
  • Passport ready
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Comfortable signing NDA
  • Infant/child CPR certified
  • Trustline certified or willing to get certified ASAP
  • Legal to work in the U.S.

Salary and Benefits

$35 to $40 per hour DOE
