A busy family in Southampton, is seeking a proactive housekeeper.  This is a long-term seasonal position, returning annually each May through September.   The schedule will be busy working 5-6 days per week, with flexibility for weekends, with advance notice.  This is an active household in the summer months.  There are additional staff already in place to help keep the home running smoothly.  This position is will start in late April and continue into early September.  The family would love to have the same person return each season!  The family is seeking someone who is already local and a commutable distance to Southampton.  There is no housing provided for this role.

• Perform thorough hands-on cleaning of the home, ensuring all spaces are immaculate and well-maintained
• Handle laundry, including delicate fabrics, ironing, and wardrobe organization
• Communicate and manage vendors for household needs and services
• Run errands for the family, including shopping and household needs
• Cook daily breakfast and assist the Chef when needed
• Prepare meals when the Chef is unavailable
• Assist with serving during meals and events
• Provide light care for the family dog, such as feeding or walks, as needed
• Maintain household supplies and inventory while ensuring everything is in order

• Strong cleaning and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and flexible
• Trustworthy, respectful, and hardworking
• Child-friendly (though no childcare responsibilities are required)
• Must love what you do and bring enthusiasm to the role

• Legal to work in the US
• Prior experience working in a formal home environment
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Clean, valid driver’s license
• Seasonal role from late April/early May through mid-September each year
