A lovely family in Menlo Park, CA are seeking a nanny to help care for their 3-month-old daughter. The family is looking for an experienced nanny who is very caring and nurturing, truly loves babies and working with children, and can help happily care for their daughter. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm, 40 hours per week guaranteed. The family is prioritizing candidates who have a caretaking background, and who have certifications in nanny related fields. The family is currently only open to local, live-out candidates.

• Provide overall care for the baby
• Maintaining the parents' philosophies
• Help ensure the baby is on a feeding routine and assist where needed
  
• Help implement and/or maintain a sleep routine and schedule when needed
• Provide professional guidance as it pertains to baby, while respecting the family’s personal preferences
• Engage with baby: provide fun age-appropriate activities, supervising any activities that might come up, go on walks, encourage developmental play, help with developmental milestone 
• Child related light housekeeping to help maintain an organized space, including laundry, sanitizing toys, and helping tidy baby spaces

• Caring, nurturing, able to take direction
• Good health and ability to physically care for a baby and all it entails

• At least 5 years of professional nannying experience with at least 3 references  
• Experience with infants
• Great communicator
• Must be comfortable around pets - the family has 1 friendly golden retriever, and 1 cat
  
• No ego: able to provide recommendations when needed, but also take cues from and respect the family's choices
• Can easily navigate the role with involved
  
• Up to date on all vaccinations, or willing to update before start date
• CPR/First Aid certified, or willing to certify
• TrustLine certified, or willing to certify
• Legal to work in the US

• Hourly rate is $35-$45, based on experience
• Standard benefots of 2 weeks vacation, personal days, and holidays
