A busy family on the Upper West Side are looking for an energetic, experienced, full-time nanny for their two boys; 5 months and 2 years of age.  This is a 40-45 hour per week role with the general weekday schedule below and additional hours available on the weekends from time to time:

• Monday: 7:30am - 5:30pm
• Tuesday: 10am - 8pm
• Wednesday: 12pm - 10am the following day (overnight stay optional)
• Thursday: 8am - 6pm
• Friday: 8am - 1pm

• Compassionate, responsible care for children, in coordination with parents
• Care for both children simultaneously
• Monitor and implement schedule and routine, including nap and sleep time
• Support both children's social and emotional needs, set boundaries, and provide structure for kids to promote good emotional and social development
• Help arrange play-dates (with other nannies and nearby families) and take them to/from the park, activities, and classes
• Children's laundry and meal/snack preparation for kids
• Light housekeeping for children when not care giving (tidying up common areas after playtime, cleaning the kitchen after meal prep for the child, organizing baby's drawers, closets & toy boxes
• Help to keep home tidy and organized when not caregiving (general light housekeeping, making parents’ bed, putting parents’ clothes away, keeping the refrigerator clean, helping parents prepare meals)
• Check-in with parents frequently to ensure a united front with rules, expectations, and care so that children receive consistency and lots of love and attention
• Remain flexible to accommodate changing work schedule 
• Travel to Westport, CT, to work from time to time
• Occasionally travel with to nearby locations
• Enforce no screen time including TV and Smartpones
• Keep track of work hours, and submit a weekly work log

• Energetic and can-do attitude
• Able to stay over from time to time
• Ability to speak Spanish and/or Hebrew
• Interest in cooking

• Legal to work in US
• Able to travel domestically
• Experience taking care of multiple young children at once
• Comfortable working with parents

$40 per hour
