Two amazing dads with a zest for life are seeking a part-time nanny for their infant son, who will be 4-months old in March. They currently have an NCS who has schedules in place, and the baby is progressing beautifully. Their ideal candidate will be bilingual and speak French, but it is not a requirement. Parents are hands-on, and one works from home. They’re looking for someone to enrich their son’s life and be able to pick up where the NCS left off. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm with flexibility. This role is only open to live-out candidates who are within reasonable commuting distance to DUMBO.

Include but are not limited to:

• Provide attentive and nurturing care for the child
• Always ensure the safety and well-being of the child
• Create a safe and stimulating environment for the child to encourage his physical, emotional, and cognitive development
• Follow the established routines and adjust as needed
• Engage in activities that promote development such as reading and singing, and age-appropriate outings
• Provide guidance as it pertains to the child’s care while respecting the family’s personal preferences
• Full-charge care such as bathing, feeding, diapering
• Child-relating tidying up, including laundry and sterilization of bottles
• Track, log, and assist the child with reaching developmental milestones

• Prior experience in a similar role

• Understanding of infant development and ability to recognize and respond to infant needs
• Dependable, trustworthy, and professional
• Works intuitively and collaboratively
• Flexibility with the schedule
• Ability to speak French preferred 

• Up-to-date vaccinations for Tdap/MMR and RSV
• Fluent in English
• Local to NYC
• Legal to work in the U.S.

$40 per hour
