Overview

A busy family in the Miami, FL area is looking for a full-time nanny for their two children, both under 4 years of age. The schedule is Monday through Friday 11am - 7:30pm.  The older child is enrolled in school until 2:30pm each day.  This role is in collaboration with the mother who works from home, however, the family is looking for someone who is experienced and confident taking care of both children at the same time.  The ideal candidate holds a college degree or some early childhood experience and education. The family is looking for a team-player, as they have a full-time housekeeper/cook.

Responsibilities

  • Engage children through play and language to enhance development
  • Work as a team with Mom 
  • Lunch food prep and clean up for children; meals for 4 year old and purees for baby
  • Clean children's dishes, baby bottles, and pumps parts
  • Assist with clean up and toy organization, particularly in the childrens' rooms and areas
  • Help with household tasks as necessary; running dishwasher, taking out the trash, running a load of laundry, opening packages (when housekeeper is not working)
  • Keep stroller and diaper bags stocked/clean, and organized at all times
  • Assist with warming up dinner food and dinner clean up for family
  • Emergency care; being able to take kids to doctors/hospitals/perform CPR

 

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude
  • College Degree or early educational experience
  • Team-player mentality
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Requirements

  • Five plus years experience as a nanny, with excellent references
  • Legal to work in US
  • Able to swim
  • CPR certified

Salary and Benefits

  • $30-$35+/hr
  • 14 days of PTO (paid out at EOY if unused)
  • 5 paid sick days (paid out at EOY if not used)
  • Annual bonus
