A warm and lively family in Bergen County, NJ is seeking a full-time nanny for their two children ages 7 and 5. The general schedule is Monday through Friday 12pm-8pm and there is opportunity for weekend overtime. They live about 40-45 minutes outside of NYC.

• Engaging the children in age-appropriate developmental activities, including play, outdoor activity and crafts
• Prepare healthy children’s food
• Transport to and from school/camp/activities - using the family’s SUV
• Children’s laundry (clothing, bedding)
• Keep childrens’ rooms clean (trash cans, bathroom)
• Cycle out seasonal clothing, keep drawers organized
• Travel with family
• Reading to children daily
• Bedtime routine

• The ideal candidate is reliable, engaging, upbeat, compassionate, honest, dedicated, knowledgeable about child development and enthusiastic about nurturing the children’s curiosity and interests.
• Seeking a long term position with a family.

• 5+ years of relevant FT nanny experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to travel on occasion
• Vaccinated
• Must know how to swim - the family has a pool
• Team player and can work well with other Nanny

• $35/hour depending on experience and credentials

• 2 weeks of vacation

• Certain holidays

• 10 sick days per year

• A healthcare stipend can be negotiated
