Overview

A great family in Austin, TX is seeking a ROTA nanny to join their team caring for their 2-year-old and 3-year-old to start as soon as possible. The family is also expecting their 3rd baby this summer, and baby will likely have an NCS for the first few months. The general schedule will be 24/7 mentality, with a 2 week on/off rotation, either returning home each night after shift, or staying in the residence if needed. Flexibility might be needed for night-time coverage and longer travel on occasion. Priority is given to nannies already local in Texas, but the family is open to relocating the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Full childcare for your shift, caring for their  health, well-being, and education, while also being playful and creating an engaging environment.
  • Maintaining the schedule and routine, planning active and engaging activities- (think minimal screen time)
  • Planning age-appropriate and developmental activities, play dates, and outings
  • Coordinating schedules for naps and meals, activities, and travel
  • Preparing snacks and meals
  • Managing the tidiness and organization of child spaces and belongings 
  • Child-related light housekeeping when needed
  • Coordinating with the other nanny to create cohesive and consistent care

Qualifications

  • Ability to navigate involved parents
  • Positive attitude
  • Loving and calm
  • Energetic enough to care for a toddlers, but also have a calm and centered demeanor
  • An educational background in Child Development/ECE or other relevant field
  • Experienced in a fully staffed home
  • Experience traveling with a family

Requirements

  • Must have at least 8-10 years of experience as a professional nanny
  • Must have at least 3 strong references from previous families
  • Driver’s license and clean driving recond - a nanny car is provided
  • Must be able to swim
  • Team player with excellent communication
  • Must be comfortable around pets - the family has 1 small dog
  • Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certified, or willing to certify 
  • Legal to work in the US

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary is $100k-$125k, based on experience, including hourly rate and OT
  • Standard benefits are offered for the right candidate
  • Housing stipend is offered for the right candidate
