A warm family based in Newtown, PA (1.5 hours outside of New York City) is seeking a 2-3 month temporary live-in nanny for their 4-year-old, 2-year-old, and 9-month-old, starting ASAP through March. The schedule will be 40 hours per week. The family needs a true career nanny who can take charge with the children, redirect, and provide independent care. 

• Full charge childcare, planning educational activities for the children, supervising and ensuring safety at all times
• Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children 
• Tag teaming with involved mother including switching off staying home with baby while mom takes older children out or vice versa
• Staying engaged with the children and happy to play and explore on the property, especially if the baby is napping. The family lives on 5 acres in the countryside and has an outdoor playground, indoor playroom, and pool
• Taking children to activities or local parks, all within a 20 minute drive of the home

• The ideal candidate will be active and happy to spend time outside in nature with the children exploring their 5 acre countryside property
• A team player that can work well with the family’s full-time housekeeper 
• Driver's license and clean driving record. There is a staff car available for transporting the children and personal use during time off. Driving is not required but nice to have
• Ideal personality: warm positive energy, energetic to keep up with three busy children, creative, happy to be silly and goofy 
• Knows how to read the room and give the family space, especially in the evening hours and weekends when Mom and Dad are home 
• Ability to travel with the family or stay home with the children while Mom and Dad travel 

• Prioritize the safety and well-being of the children at all times
• CPR certified, or willing to certify
• Pass background check and drug test 
• Able to handle all 3 children solo. Although their oldest is in school daily, the nanny must be able to handle all 3 children when needed
• US passport, Green Card, or EAC 

• $30 per hour
• Private room and bathroom on separate floor 
• Although this is a temporary role, the family would consider extending for the right person
