A wonderful family of 3 seeks a nanny to care for their 2.5-month-old daughter. This is a full-time, live-out position but the family would consider a live-in set-up. They currently have a newborn care specialist who will be with them until April 1st, so ideally the nanny would join them 2 weeks prior for a smooth handover. The family resides in NYC for most of the year, but also have a home in Los Angeles where they spend several months; whilst there the nanny would have a private bedroom and en-suite within their home.

Both parents work in the entertainment industry and schedules can be unpredictable so it's important that the candidate is flexible. They would like for the candidate to be available 2-3 evenings each week for any events/work dinners, etc.

• All aspects of infant care
• Bottle-feeding and caring for the newborn
• Able to guide and impart advice at the weaning stage and prepare homemade purees/food
• Keeping their daughters’ areas tidy and organized
• Able to tidy as you go along, wiping down surfaces, unloading the dishwasher, taking in packages, etc.
• Baby laundry
• Planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings 
• Schedule playdates to encourage social skills

• They would ideally like for the candidate to commit to the role long-term
• Warm and nurturing
• Able to lead with love and kindness, but ensure boundaries, manners, etc.
• Passionate about childcare
• Knowledgeable about childhood development to ensure their daughter reaches her milestones
• Trustworthy, reliable, and discreet
• Collaborative and able to work as a team with involved parents 
• CPR and First Aid certified
• US work authorization 
• Swimming is NOT required, but highly desired as they have a pool in LA

• You must be passport ready as you will be required to travel with the family both on vacation or when the parents are on location for various projects
• Must have 5+ years’ experience with this age group
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Guaranteed 40 hours per week- this could increase up to 50 hours depending on the parents schedules, so the candidate should be flexible 
• Would be required to sign an NDA
• $35/hr
• Available to start around March 17th
• 2 weeks PTO

• Food and accommodation would be provided when the family are in LA
