A wonderful, private family in Atherton, CA is seeking a superlative Spanish/English speaking live-out career nanny to join their existing team. They have two children, one who is 8 months and one upper elementary school-aged. They had a wonderful experience with their doulas for their infant and now it’s time to expand childcare coverage for both children. This is a new long-term position with the goal for optimum childcare coverage among the team. The candidate should be capable of caring for either child at any given time during their shift, or when extra coverage is needed. There will be one nanny on duty per child. The general schedule is still being determined while the team is being built. The work day will 7am to 7pm with flexibility, 4 days a week.  Initially, the hours may be on the longer side until the exact needs are determined and the team is complete. Travel will be required both domestically and internationally from time to time. This is a fully staffed formal home with the nanny’s primary focus being on child-related duties and care. Local candidates are preferred, as the family is looking to hire immediately. Discretionary relocation assistance is being offered for the right candidate.

• Follow instructions provided by family and act accordingly if need to pivot arises
• Pack and unpack for travel
• Organize and maintain children’s areas including any supplies.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper hygiene etiquette 
• Pro-actively plan and prepare for travel, daily activities, and provide suggestions when appropriate
• Work collaboratively with co-nannies and parents

• 5+ years’ experience in a similar role or with both age groups
• Experience working with children with allergies
• Works intuitively - Knowing when to ask questions and when to take charge
• Calm and confident without an ego
• Professional demeanor and ability to work with the utmost discretion
• Team player with the ability to work autonomously 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to recognize when to assist and when to step back and allow for family time
• Friendly, active, and energetic personality with the ability to intuitively match the energy in the room and act accordingly

• Work in an efficient, organized, and tidy manner

• Valid driver’s license
• Strong swimmer
• Current vaccinations, MMR, TDAP, Flu and Covid
• Must be comfortable signing an NDA
• Tech savvy
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Valid passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally 
• Ability to speak Mandarin would be a huge plus but is not required
• Trustline Certified
