A wonderful family of 4 in Manhattan, NY is seeking a full-time chef to start ASAP. The general schedule will be Monday through Friday, roughly 7am-5pm, for 50 hours per week guaranteed. They request all 3 meals to be cooked in their residence daily, with some meals prepped for the weekends as well. The chef will be routinely cooking for the two principals, their two young children, and other staff in the home, anywhere from 4-7 people daily. One of the staff has an anaphylactic allergy to lavender, but there are no other allergies in the home. The two young children primarily eat a protein, veggie, and carb such as pasta for meals. The parents try not to eat any carbs, and stick to mostly protein and veggies, so they request creative and delicious options for variety. They generally don't eat a lot of seafood, mostly lean proteins - chicken and beef and sometimes salmon. The family loves Italian and Spanish/Mexican influences in cuisines, and overall, are open to all cuisines and enjoy high-quality ingredient-forward meals.
