A family in Dumbo, Brooklyn, is seeking a superlative hybrid newborn care specialist/doula, starting at the end of February/ beginning of March (due date: 5th March 2025). This is a high-risk pregnancy, so the start date may be earlier, depending on the delivery. The contract term will be a minimum of 3 months, with the potential to extend, and the schedule will be 20/7. There may be domestic and international travel if the term extends beyond 6+ months, so candidates should be willing to accommodate this.

• Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all time
• Establishing and maintaining the baby's sleep schedule
• Assisting with feeding (breastfeeding support or bottle feeding)
• Handling baby-related tasks such as diaper changes, bathing, and laundry.

• Proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist and Doula, with verifiable references.
• Certification as a Newborn Care Specialist is preferred but not mandatory.
• Expertise in establishing sleep schedules and managing infant feeding routines.
• Familiarity with high-risk pregnancy and newborn care considerations is a plus.

• US passport, Green Card or EAC 
• Up to date on COVID, Flu, MMR, Tdap, and RSV vaccinations
• Certified in CPR and First Aid.
• SIDS awareness and protection
• Available to commit to the full term
• Be willing to travel domestically and internationally if the term extends beyond 6 months
• Must be pet friendly (the family have 1 x cat)
