A lovely, busy Upper East Side based family seeks a fabulous live-in housekeeper for their large 3-bedroom apartment.  The schedule will vary but will likely be Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm, with occasional help needed over weekends.

• Cleaning of all rooms in the home, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, wiping etc
• Keeping the kitchen organised and immaculate
• Keeping an eye on pantry stock levels, cleaning supplies etc
• General tidying and organising
• Laundry and ironing for the family (parents and two children)
• Online ordering when needed
• Identifying problems and issues, getting in contractors and trades if necessary
• And really anything and everything that contributes to the smooth running of the home and ensures it remains in pristine condition

The successful candidate should:

• Have a positive, can-do personality with a proactive approach to the role
• Display initiative and intelligence
• Be flexible and an effective communicator
• Be fit and active, able to manage a large apartment with ease
• Be an organised team-player (there are other staff in the home)
