Overview

A lovely family of three in Greenwich, CT is seeking a fantastic full-time nanny to assist with their two children, ages 6 and 3.5. The schedule for this role is 35 hours- Monday through Friday, 12pm-7pm, with some opportunity for overtime hours if desired. This position is live-out, so candidates must be local to Greenwich and able to commute daily, or be willing to relocate. This role starts at the beginning of January. 

Responsibilities

  • Transporting children to and from school and extracurricular activities 
  • Creating an engaging and fun environment- actively play with the children 
  • Researching, planning, and executing activities and outings
  • Keeping children's areas and belongings tidy and organized 
  • Children's meal preparation 
  • Packing and preparing children for travel 

Qualifications

  • Team oriented- able to work with an involved mother and other nannies on a very supportive team
  • Energetic, engaging, and fun-loving 
  • Warm and kind
  • Professional, and ideally college educated 

Requirements

  • The family has two friendly dogs, so candidates must be comfortable working with and around dogs
  • Driving is required, and candidates must be very comfortable navigating winding roads, including during the winter months
  • Available for very occasional overnights to cover other nannies- 1-2 times per year 
  • Able to travel domestically and internationally- (typically the live-in nannies travel, so this is not requested very often)
  • Ability to swim and supervise children in the pool

Salary and Benefits

  • $41/hr.- this equals yearly compensation of $75k for 35 hours, with additional overtime after 40 hours 
  • Benefits, including medical insurance
  • PTO, including most of the summer off, and paid holidays
