Overview

A loving family of three in Long Island City is seeking a part-time live-out nanny. The family is seeking a loving and warm nanny who wants a mutual long-term relationship. The job starts in January 2025 but the right person can start a little sooner. The parents are both working and their daughter will be 10 months old. The days will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday with occasional Tuesday Flexibility from 7:30 am to 6 pm. Occasional extra hours may also be available. 

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with the child through playtime and taking initiative to create a safe, stimulating environment, both at home and in local activities such as park visits, neighborhood walks (weather permitting), or music classes.
  • Preparing pre-planned meals for the child.
  • Keeping toys and surfaces clean and tidy in the areas where the child spends time.
  • Following and maintaining the child’s established routine.

Qualifications

  • The ability to speak Spanish is a plus but is not required 

Requirements

  • Great references and flexibility 
  • Able to work with toddlers

Salary and Benefits

  • $35/hr 
  • Paid time off and sick days
