Overview

A warm, kind family in Brooklyn are seeking a weekend nanny/housekeeper. The schedule will ideally be 8 am-4/5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday (the family will guarantee these hours) and then some ad hoc help throughout the week. If candidates would like to more guaranteed hours, the family is prepared to guarantee an additional half day on Monday. They are also open to speaking with superlative candidates who are only available on Saturdays or Sundays, as long as they are also able to help when required during the week if the family’s full-time nanny or housekeeper is sick. Flexibility to manage bedtimes and stay later on weekends with advanced notice is also ideal e.g. to accommodate date nights.

  • Must have at least 5 years' verifiable experience working in a similar capacity
  • The family has a dog (Labrador), so candidates must be pet-friendly, though there is a full-time dog walker
  • Be comfortable with lots of stairs since this is a townhouse
  • Candidates should have a pleasant, calm, and discreet demeanor
