Overview

A loving family in West Village, New York is seeking a full-time family assistant to join their team!  There is one child at the moment that is 2 years old and one on the way in March. There is a nanny in the home already but she can not travel.  The family is looking for someone who is comfortable devoting most of their time to personal assistant work with a small portion of helping out with their child- school pick-ups, activities, and just being an extra set of hands when needed.

The family is in the process of building a new home in the Upper East Side, so a large majority of the work, for now, is focused on vendors, contractors, schedules, appointments, etc., working with the mom to handle and keep everything organized- ordering groceries, keeping inventory stocked at the properties, paying vendors, etc.  The role would be out of the home guaranteed 40 hours a week with flexibility. Typical shifts could be Monday-Friday or Tuesday-Saturday, with hours like 9 AM to 5 PM or 11 AM to 8 PM, depending on weekly needs.

• Household Support: Manage schedules, appointments, reservations, and travel planning.
• Renovation Oversight: Coordinate with contractors and vendors, oversee project progress, and assist with moving logistics.

• Traveling when needed
