Overview

A friendly and welcoming family based in Liechtenstein seeks a fabulous live-in mother's help/housekeeper.  The schedule is likely to be 8am-7pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend help appreciated.  There will also be regular travel to Italy and to the US, at which point the schedule is likely to be 6 or 7 days per week.

Responsibilities

The parents are around and very involved in their chidren's care, so this position will suit a great all-rounder who is comfortable tag-teaming with the parents and who is happy to take on all aspects of running the home:

  • Some school runs (depending on the parents' availability)
  • General housekeeping in the morning (including laundry and ironing, vacuuming, tidying, dusting etc)
  • Possibly some care for a newborn, if Mum has to pop out briefly
  • Engaging with the older boys, aged 4 and 6yrs, in the afternoons
  • Preparing meals for the family

Requirements

  • A driver would probably be helpful, but isn't essential
  • A kind, patient, postive and upbeat personality
  • An ability to read the room, to know when to allow the family space and when to step-in and help
  • Reliable and consistent approach
  • Pitch-in mentality
  • Fluency in English and, preferably German and/or Italian
  • Confident cook, able to prepare organic, healthy meals and happy to source produce locally wherever possible
  • Comfortable working in a 'no-screen' environment, and with spending lots of time outdoors
  • Able to travel with the family regularly

Salary and Benefits

Your own room and bathroom is provided, on a separate floor and with separate entrance, in Liechtenstein.  And own room provided whenever you travel with the family.
