A family of four in TriBeca is seeking a full-time, live-out housekeeper for their family.  The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am-3:30pm.  One of the unique benefits of this position is the opportunity to travel- the family travels to Europe for ten weeks in the summer and would appreciate it if the candidate could join them for up to four of those weeks.  While this is not a requirement, it is a wonderful opportunity to experience a new culture and enjoy a beautiful home by the sea.

• Cleaning kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms
• Vacuuming and mopping floors
• Washing, folding, and ironing laundry
• Maintenance of clothing; sending clothes to dry cleaners
• Cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the closets throughout the house
• Changing the sheets in all bedrooms (3 bedrooms + occasionally the guest bedroom)
• Setting the table for dinner
• Deep cleaning when the family is away
• Informing PA if something significant is broken or needs to be replaced
• Occasional cleaning of outside space- floor and furniture
• Cleaning furniture covers
• Receive deliveries when present
• In case children are at home in the morning before nanny/PA arrives, be responsible for them and the adult present for them
• Drop-off child to school (15 min walk) in the morning (children are older, ages 10 and 11-years-old)
• Act as backup for looking after children in case the family's nanny is ill. On a rare occasion this may mean needing to stay overnight if parents are traveling.

The family is offering $35/hr+ based on experience, a health care stipend, a transportation stipend, and paid time off.
