A family in La Jolla, CA is seeking a full-time live-out housekeeper for their 7,000 sq. ft. home. There are 5 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. The schedule is Monday through Friday 8am-4pm. There are two adults, 3 older children, and 2 dogs in the home. The ability to work around the family’s schedule while at the same time cleaning and organizing in an efficient manner is important to the family. 

• Cleaning and tidying the residence
• Sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
• Vacuum carpets, rugs and dust
• Empty and clean trash containers
• Clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
• Wipe down glass surfaces
• Wipe down refrigerators, wine fridge, mini fridges, ice makers, etc.
• Make up beds and change linens as required
• Keep inventory of cleaning/household supplies
• Laundry for clothing and linens (sort, wash, fold, etc.) and light ironing
• Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition
• Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements to principal(s)
• Wash dishes and clean kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards
• Clean appliances
• Clean entryway of home
• Clean, tidy and organize outdoor living spaces (e.g., decks, balconies, etc.)
• Meal preparation (e.g., chopping vegetables, etc.)
• Assistance with dogs (e.g., clean up after, walk occasionally, etc.)

• Candidate to hire needs to be honest, trustworthy, understand the importance of maintaining discretion (confidentiality agreement required), experienced working with principals and children that are around residence often (having a quiet presence is important), and adept at organizing and general cleaning
• Very skilled with laundry
• Candidates must be comfortable working around dogs
• Candidates with years of private full-time housekeeper experience working in a 5,000+ square foot or larger residence is required
• Uniform preferred by housekeeper is provided and required

• $40-45/hour or up to $50/hour if every job duty/requirement can be met and done extremely well. The hourly rate ultimately offered will depend on candidate's resume, references, and ability to do all the tasks well.
