A kind and busy family on the Upper East Side is seeking a fantastic full-time chef. The schedule will generally be Monday through Friday, lunch and dinner. The family prefers healthy and creative cooking from all cuisines, and are seeking a chef who enjoys variety and creating new and exciting dishes. Meals will generally be served family-style, with the exception of occasional formal plated meals. 

• Preparation of lunch for 3-5 people (staff and principals)
• Preparation of dinner for 7 people (principals, children, and nanny)
• Grocery shopping, including stocking the pantry as needed
• Maintaining the organization of the kitchen and cleaning up after meals
• Cooking for occasional dinner parties (once every 2-3 weeks)

• Creative meal preparation- the family likes to eat healthy and delicious foods from around the world 
• Dessert/pastry skills (the family is open to someone who is willing to learn from a fantastic pastry chef) 

• Willing to spend one month in the Hamptons during the summer, and 2-4 weeks throughout the year
• Some flexibility to work on occasional weekends or holidays 

• $130-150k annually 
• PTO whenever the family travels- time off is generally expected to be coordinated with the family's travel
