Overview

A wonderful family in Cherry Hills Village (15 minutes outside of Denver), Colorado is seeking a full-time live-out cook/chef to join their family to begin ASAP, generally Monday through Friday. The role will be 50/50 in person and preparing food off site. For example, Monday/Wednesday/Friday in person and Tuesday/Thursday off-site. The family loves healthy, farm to table cuisine and enjoy high-quality ingredient-forward meals. 

Responsibilities

  • Cooking breakfast, lunch, and dinner for four adults. There are children in the home but the chef is not responsible for preparing their meals. 
  • Plate meals but not expected to otherwise serve 
  • Grocery shopping and restocking of the pantry 

  • Keeping the kitchen tidy and cleaning up after cooking
  • The chef will be expected to send the week's menu the week before so the principals can advise on any changes.

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate is warm and family-friendly but keeps to themselves and gives the family privacy, especially when they are eating. The family is thoughtful and kind, so they hope to find a chef matching that energy.
  • Health conscious and able to keep the menu fresh and dynamic 
  • Team player and good communicator with other staff 

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license and own reliable transportation 
  • Already local to the Denver area OR not requiring assistance if relocating from elsewhere 
  • Legal to work in the US
  • Comfortable with both dogs and birds in the home
  • Prior private home experience
  • Diversity in cuisines
  • Experience in cooking for allergies (such as dairy free, gluten free, etc.) for guests that need specific dietary considerations  

Salary and Benefits

Pay is $80-100k. There will be PTO, sick days, paid holidays if worked
