Overview

A loving and generous single-parent based between NYC, and New Hope, PA, is seeking a newborn care specialist to help with their second child, due December 26th. Candidates should be available to start as early as December 18th (in case baby is early) and commit to a period of 12 weeks. There may be an option to extend. The schedule will be 24/7, with a 4-hour break every 24-hour period.  The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional who is friendly, personable, and discreet.

 

The baby will be born in Salt Lake City, UT and then the family will fly private charter to New Hope, PA. There will likely be travel between the family’s home there and NYC, and additional domestic/international travel is possible, so candidates should be willing and able to join the family, as needed. 

Responsibilities

  • Prioritizing the safety and well-being of the baby at all times
  • Implementing an effective sleep routine that the family’s nannies/parent can follow once the term ends
  • Providing practical tools to enable the parent to keep baby on schedule during the day, thus setting baby up for success at night
  • Providing general support and assistance

Qualifications

  • Must have at least 5-10 years' verifiable experience working as a newborn care specialist
  • Surrogate experience is a huge plus, but not essential

Requirements

  • US passport, Green Card or EAC 
  • COVID vaccinated, and up to date on Flu/RSV/Tdap and MMR vaccinations
  • Passport ready and willing to travel, if required 
  • The family has a very docile, 50lb rescue dog, so candidates must be comfortable with pets/must not have allergies to dogs
