A friendly and welcoming family in Miami seeks a fabulous Jane of all trades to be their live-out mother's helper/house manager to start as early as the middle of March or as late as beginning of April. The schedule is likely to be around 50 hours per week, Tuesday through Saturday, with flexibility to swap for a Sunday with notice. The schedule may change as the baby gets older (earlier start for example), but would still be 50 hours per week. The family can work with the chosen candidate on an exact preferred schedule. There will also be regular travel during the summer of at least 2-3 weeks at a time to their second home in North Carolina, during which the position will be live-in. Mom is looking for a true teammate who can help with house management/family assistance when she is with the baby and be with the baby when mom is busy. 

This is very much a hybrid role that may change overtime as the child gets older.

• Childcare of one infant; the majority of childcare will be shared with mom but must be confident with infants 
• Organization including setting up new systems and maintaining those already in place
• Laundry
• Light housework including vacuuming. There is a cleaner who comes once a week to do deep cleaning. 
• Meal prep/cooking
• Running errands (groceries, returns, dry cleaning, etc.) and ordering/stocking items for the home as needed 
• Managing family calendar/scheduling appointments
• Coordinating home projects as needed including communicating with vendors
• Assisting with packing/unpacking 

• An ability to read the room, to know when to allow the family space and when to step-in and help
• Detail oriented self-starter/proactive 
• Second language would be a plus.
• Strong communicator
• Looking for longevity in next position 
• Driver's license and clean driving record for when in North Carolina

• Valid to work in the US
• Comfortable around water/swimming 
• There is a large well-trained dog in the home so must be comfortable with dogs and have no allergies. No care of the dog will be required though
• Willing to travel for a few weeks each summer plus a couple of domestic trips throughout the year. From June through October, the family usually spends a few weeks at a time (2-3 weeks) in North Carolina and then comes back to Miami and then goes again for 2-3 weeks.
