A wonderful family in Fairfield County, CT is seeking a full-time chef to join their family as soon as possible, generally Monday through Friday, starting late morning and staying to make dinner (dinner is usually by 6). The family travels often during the summers so that would include time off for the chef. The family loves global cuisines and there are a couple of dietary restrictions, but overall they are easygoing with preferences and enjoy high-quality ingredient-forward meals.

• Cooking lunch and dinner for some combination of the principals, a small staff, and children. Light lunches are typically just for the parents and staff. Occasionally the principals will have friends over for lunch. At dinner, the chef can usually cook one meal for everyone but sometimes cooks an additional option for the children, who have simpler tastes. 

• Grocery shopping and restocking of the pantry. 

• The chef will be expected to send the week's menu the week before so the principals can advise on any changes.
• If there is a dinner party, additional staff would be there to help. 

• The ideal candidate is warm and family-friendly. The family is thoughtful and kind, so they hope to find a chef matching that energy.
• Team player and good communicator with other staff 

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation 

Pay is competitive and dependent on experience. There will be PTO and paid holidays.
