A private family with multiple residences is seeking a full-time live-out housekeeper for their penthouse on 5th Avenue. The ideal schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, but they can be flexible for a Monday through Friday schedule and would also request the housekeeper be flexible regarding the schedule when the principals are in town. The hours will be 9am-5pm when the principals are not in residence, but 7am-3pm would also be ideal when the principals are in residence and to stagger the shifts accordingly with the other full-time housekeeper so there is continuous coverage. The principals are in the country only 4 months total out of the year. The family also has residences in Chelsea, SoHo, and Greenwich, CT and there may be times that the housekeeper will clean these residences as well. 

• General cleaning
• Cleaning furniture and fixtures
• Washing and ironing (clothing, linens, and bedding)
• Dusting
• Polishing
• Vacuuming
• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Assisting with changing and making the bedding
• Maintaining all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition
• Organizing closets and kitchen cupboards
• Cleaning sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards
• Reporting any damages or concerns regarding the furniture, carpets, upholstery, floors, blinds, windows, and/or curtains
• Ensuring all cleaning equipment and housekeeping tools are maintained and in good working order

• There is 1 dog (medium-sized Goldendoodle) at the Connecticut residence so the candidate to hire must be comfortable with dogs
• It is a bonus if the candidate to hire can cook
• It is a bonus if the candidate to hire can drive 

• Experience in cleaning luxury homes
• Experience with washing, steaming, ironing, folding, and caring for luxury linens and delicate fabrics
• Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel, squat, crouch, bend and crawl, and ability to lift, push and pull required loads (approx. 30 pounds)
• Have 5+ years of related experience working in a high-level private home
• Have the ability to work with the highest degree of confidentiality and be willing to sign an NDA
