A wonderful, tight knit family of four living on the Upper East Side is seeking a part-time, live-out housekeeper/laundress. The schedule would be Monday through Friday, with the hours approximately 1pm-6pm.

Responsibilities will focus on maintaining the 2-bed, 2-bath home- deep cleaning, caring for fine surfaces, running errands, dusting, vacuuming, as well as handling fine clothing, ironing men's shirts and sheets, and taking other delicate items to the dry cleaner.

Mom works from home, so the candidate must also be willing able to work around her. They have a high standard of care for their home and family. They are very organized, punctual, and fair, and expect the same from someone who will be working with them in tight quarters. 

The ideal person will be flexible, autonomous, detail orientated, will have a pitch-in attitude, as well as be an excellent organizer.

• Highly skilled laundress who understands how to care for delicate items and extend their longevity 
• The family have high expectations with regards laundry and everything should be ironed
• Occasional babysitting, where you would be paid extra
• You may be asked from time to time to pick up one of the children from school which is walking distance from our home.

• If the candidate speaks Spanish, it would be a bonus
• A driver would be amazing but it's not a requirement. The family would provide a car
• The family have two dogs, there is a full time dog walker but there will be times when the dogs will need to be walked.

• Someone who has excellent judgement and common sense
• They must know how to be discreet and private
• They must be happy to work around children and have the patience for them. (The family have two sons aged 11 and 8)
• Someone who is proficient in the kitchen and be willing and able to prepare light healthy snacks and simple healthy dinners for the children.
• Should be able to manage inventory supplies, keep up to date with supplies, etc
• Must be knowledgeable in how to grocery shop efficiently, cost effectively and with good judgement

• September start date
• The family are looking to offer $35 per hour
• They will look to offer PTO
