A lovely growing family living in Brooklyn Heights is seeking a proactive and experienced career nanny. The general schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, approximately 8am-7pm. The family has one child who is 5-years-old and is in school. They are expecting another baby in October. They will have a newborn care specialist for 5 months.  The start date for this role is October.

Job duties include all aspects of childcare including:

• Arranging play-dates, meal prep, laundry, tidying, and organization

• Overseeing developmental stages for both children

• The family has a 12-pound dog and it's important that the nanny is comfortable with dogs. There is a dog walker but they are looking for someone who has the willingness to let the dog out/feed when needed

• Ability to work well with others as they will get an afternoon sitter to help

• The ideal candidate for this position will be responsible, engaging, and creative
• This a down-to-earth family who are looking for a long-term nanny to be part of the family, they want someone invested- this is not a role for a phone watcher

• The family does travel, and would love a nanny who is willing and able to accompany them. This includes Summer travel to secondary home one month per summer.
• A COVID vaccine and booster is required for this position.
• The nanny will need to have a driver's license and it would ideal if the nanny has a car
